Sarma is running for councillor in Ward 6 because she cares deeply about Clarence-Rockland and wants to work alongside residents to build an even stronger community. For nearly two decades, Sarma has been involved in the life of Clarence-Rockland - supporting community sports, cultural activities, local initiatives and civic life. She knows what makes Clarence Creek such a special place in which to live and work and she is aware of its particular challenges.  She is running because she believes Council should listen carefully, make thoughtful decisions and keep residents at the centre of those decisions. With fresh ideas and positive solutions, Sarma will make an excellent representative of your voice on council and will work hard to make a meaningful difference in our community.
